Part of an ongoing series of artworks during Ronald Pope’s prolific ‘Passing Crowds’ phase – Prelude to a sculptural piece of work currently housed at the Watford museum; ‘Into the Wind’ breaks down an everyday commuting scene into a cubist masterclass of movement, form and social commentary (from the late artist’s family estate).
